The Son's of Shallowford

When I see this picture it reminds me of Brother Sowards, my Dad, Brother Hazelton, Bishop Nichols, Brother Mansell and all of my great quorum leaders.  It reminds me of my brothers and the good times we had together, learning, growing, working and preparing.  There's Matt, Jonathan, Dalin, Brad, Tyler, Robbie, Ryan, Justin, Nathan, Bennett, Kevin, Michael, Winston, and me, a band of  Brother's going out to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world.  We have been together for years now and have been taught the importance of who we are and our responsibility to serve the Lord.

Brother Sowards, thanks for your love and Christ-like example.  Bishop, thanks for teaching me how to work and for being my friend.  Brother Mansell, you are a G.  Dad, thanks for always being there for me and for your support.  Bro's, thanks for teaching me the real meaning of Brotherhood and what it means to be a member of a Quorum.  All the best, and sucsess to each of you on your missions.

I want to say thanks to all my Priesthood leaders for their time and efforts in helping me prepare for this special  moment and especially to my family for their never ending love and support.

And they were all YOUNG MEN, and they were exceedingly VALIANT for COURAGE, and also for STRENGTH and activity; but behold, this was not all-they were men who were TRUE at all times in whatsoever thing they were entrusted. Yea, they were MEN OF TRUTH and soberness, for THEY HAD BEEN TAUGHT to KEEP the COMMANDMENTS OF GOD and WALK UPRIGHTLY before Him.

To the right is a map of my mission area in the Oregon Portland Mission. I can't wait to get started and have heard that Oregon is just about the most beautiful place on earth.
